In many parts of Torah (Old Test.), Messiah is described as a leader who will save the Jews from captivity by establishing a strong State based in Jerusalem. So, who is the real Messiah expected in Torah? In Torah, chapters such as Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Daniel, Micah and Zechariah contain detailed information about Messiah. There is no expectation of savior Messiah in the first parts of Torah. However, in the prophet books written during the captivity years that began after defeat against Babylonians, it is stated at several parts that a Messiah who will save them from captivity and will establish a great State and his characteristics are described. In the history, it was the King David who brought together twelve Jewish tribes and established  a State. This was a very important period for the Jews although this kingdom lasted for only 75 years in the centuries old Jewish history. Expected Messiah has always been an embodiment of longing for King

9:6 For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us.He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

9:7 His dominion will be vast and he will bring immeasurable prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom, establishing it and strengthening it by promoting justice and fairness, from this time forward and forevermore. The Lord’s intense devotion to his people will accomplish this.” (Isaiah)

After all prophecies made during the era of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and Zechariah, and Babel exile, did the savior Messiah really arrive? Did they manage to save the Jews from captivity and return to Jerusalem to re-establish the Temple? Yes, savior Messiah had really arrived after a captivity of 70 years in Babel. The Messiah who had been awaited with great hopes had really come. He saved the Jews from captivity in Babel and ensure that they embrace in Jerusalem and re-establish the Temple. However, there was something extremely bizarre. The savior Messiah had arrived to destroy the Babel and save the Jews, yet there was something strange. The Messiah was not from tow of Beytlehem and did not descend from David. THE MESSIAH WHO WAS AWAITED IN TORAH HAD ARRIVED, YET THERE WAS SOMETHING STRANGE. THE SAVIOR DID NOT DESCEND FROM DAVID AND WAS NOT A JEW. The Messiah they had been waiting for had arrived, or God had sent a Messiah they had been waiting for . Let’s see who Messiah that arrived was:

“45:1 This is what the Lord says to his chosen one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold in order to subdue nations before him, and disarm kings, to open doors before him, so gates remain unclosed:

45:2 “I will go before you and level mountains. Bronze doors I will shatter and iron bars I will hack through.

45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stashed away in secret places, so you may recognize that I am the Lord, the one who calls you by name, the God of Israel.

45:4 For the sake of my servant Jacob, Israel, my chosen one, I call you by name and give you a title of respect, even though you do not recognize me.

45:5 I am the Lord, I have no peer, there is no God but me.” (Isaih)

The Messiah was a Persian. That is, he was PERSIAN KING KOREŞ . In B.C. 538, the Persian  King Koreş II defeated Baltazar, the King of Babel, and conquered Babel on July 16th.49 So, this is how the Jews embraced their Messiah who had been awaited for a long time. Of course, by the end of captivity, they went back to their Holy City and re-established their Temple in B.C. 515. Thus, the prophecy that was claimed to  have been written by Prophets Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and Zechariah in Bible turned out to be correct. Here is reality:

21. To fulfill the word of the Lord in the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land was appeased for its Sabbaths; [for] all the days of its desolation it rested until the completion of seventy years

22. And in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, at the completion of the word of the Lord in the mouth of Jeremiah, the Lord aroused the spirit of Cyrus the king of Persia, and he issued a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying:

23. “So said Cyrus the king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth has the Lord God of the heavens delivered to me, and He commanded me to build Him a House in Jerusalem, which is in Judea. Who among you is of all His people, may the Lord his God be with him, and he may ascend.” (2. Chronicles-36)

But, there was a very big deviation. Nobody talks about this strange case and these prophecies written for the sake of liberation from captivity in Babel  are attributed to Jesus Christ by the Christians  And attributed to present day by the Jews. In A.D. 70 AND 140 , Jerusalem saw a huge devastation and exile. This exile lasted for around 2000 years. The Jews lived a very troublesome life in deprivation of Jerusalem and Temple for 2000 years. The captivity of Babel that lasted for 70 years is needles to say compared to above period of trouble. Prophecy of arrival of the savior awaited in the original Torah, return from exile, Holy City in the Promised Land and re-establishment of Holy Temple had come true. If this is the truth, where is the Messiah given the fact that state was established and captivity ended? HE WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE ALL THESE THINGS COME TRUE. Also, where is ILYAS who was told to come before Messiah as a herald of arrival of Messiah? (Tevrat-Malaki-4:5) The Jews returned to the Promised Land and established a State with Jerusalem being the capital. All Israelites were going to return to Promised Land, yet there is no sign of the ten lost tribes. Where is the Messiah who had been awaited for such a long time while all these things took place? Why did not he show up yet? Some people are making a mistake, but who are these people? There are some religious Jews who are aware of this situation. In his speech he delivered in the TV channel of Hizbullah in Lebanon on 18 June 2005, Rabbi David Weiss describe Israel   as “Devil in material for” and said:

“We pray to God for breakup of Israel every day.33

They do not recognize the current Israel because it is a Zionist state. It is said “a land of Jews may not be mentioned before arrival of Messiah.” For detailed information about rabbis who shares these  thoughts, please refer to Annex-4. They are right according to O.T.. Because, according to O.T., a Messiah shall come out who will bring together the Jews under the roof of a state. Since the expected Messiah has not appeared yet, this State is not legal and is a state organized by the Zionists. Also, this Messiah shall start an era of peace for all people, not a war.

After all these conflicts, let nobody wait for Messiah for in vain in our time. The Savior Messiah mentioned in  Torah arrived in B.C. C 538 and saved the Jews from captivity of Babel. However, this savor Messiah was not from progeny of David, as mentioned in Torah (Old Test.), which is a clear truth. Anyone can still continue to wait. But, what happens to the Christians recently can be explained as follows; following the captivity in Babel, it is evident that the Jews added new comments to the verses concerning Messiah whenever they find themselves in trouble, thus, gave hopes for salvation to one another. Roman invasion was in place even before Jesus Christ. The Jews was, again, expecting a savior Messiah. Pavlus, like the savior of the humanity, gave a new form to this understanding of Messiah by incorporating Kabalistic comments. Jesus Christ cannot have anything to do with the Messiah written in the Torah. If Jesus Christ had been really the savior Messiah that had been awaited, why did not he save the Jews from captivity of Roman Empire? Why was Jerusalem burnt down the ground and did the Jews suffer from a captivity that would last for 2000 years ? Of course, Church has many answers to give for these conflicts, yet all of them conflict with Torah. Those of you who evaluate the foregoing carefully should be able to understand that prophecies as to Jesus Christ will come and Armageddon will be fought shall give no results. It is clear that we do not have sound information about the present time.

The fact that all  of these prophecies did not come true shall give rise to questioning of the prophecies about Messiah who is said to come in the Torah. We are not going to enter a decree for prophet words that turned out to be fake. This is a matter of Torah, let’s give the floor to Torah:

“18:20 “But if any prophet presumes to speak anything in my name that I have not authorized him to speak, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.

18:21 Now if you say to yourselves, ‘How can we tell that a message is not from the Lord?’

18:22 whenever a prophet speaks in my name and the prediction is not fulfilled, then I have not spoken it; the prophet has presumed to speak it, so you need not fear him.” (Deutoronomy)

I just wanted to remind. Let those running after Messiah prophecies and leading the world to a disaster to make them come true make a decision. Those persons may still come up with any conspiracy theory to make them come true. God has already sent a Messiah. If we kill ourselves to derive a conclusion from every event, people can find someone who claims to be Messiah  in every age like the previous ages. But, keep God out of this. God never makes promises which turn out to be baseless. The best thing to do is to  forget about this issue and not to force God for Judgement Day. God kept the promises made in the past. Let’s leave the world alone. Do not serve the worldly objectives of some people by leasing the world to a disaster.

I suggest those who pursue prophecies related to present day pay attention to this verse. You wonder why? Because prophecies of Old Test. and New Test. are not related to the present time and they are hardly comprehensible. However, prophecies of Islam related to MEHHDI are realized one by one in our time. Since this is the case, the events that are predicted to occur upon advent of MEHHDI may be realized. (MEHHDI expected in Islam is a person similar to Messiah. It is believed that they will arrive at the same time. It is believed that these two leaders will agree to unite the Christianity and Islam)
